#BEYCHELLA & Balmain

Beyoncé went all out for her headline performance at Coachella over the weekend, and she gave the Beyhive more than they bargained for! As the first black woman to headline at Coachella, she made sure to convey all that black excellence stands for. Beyoncé’s show played homage to HBCUs; it included step-show themed choreography and a marching band. Beyoncé also had a Destiny’s Child reunion with Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams, a sister act dance with Solange, and her hubby, Jay-z, made a cameo appearance for their song “Déjà Vu.”

Aside from the amazing music and dancing, Beyoncé and her performers SLAYED in their Greek-style costumes designed by Balmain. Creative Director, Olivier Rousteing, and the Balmain team worked with Queen Bey to create iconic looks for the show (below).

The honey color palette, the glitz, it was all a dream. Kudos to Balmain for bringing Bey’s ideas to life!

Do you think Christian Louboutin will bless us with a version of these boots for the masses?

It wouldn’t have been a Destiny’s Child reunion without camo costumes but this time with a little bit of glitter.

The queen got crowned, and the performers were dressed in bodysuits with an Egyptian pattern.

I can’t get enough of Beyoncé’s show, and I keep replaying clips on Instagram. It was phenomenal; I wish I could have been there! Did you tune in to the live stream? WERE YOU THERE?!? Comment below and tell me what you thought of it!

Until next time, je m’en vais!
