Everyone should pamper themselves every once in awhile, and a face mask is a great place to start. Just make yourself a nice bubble bath, turn on some calming music, and relax. Here are a couple skincare goodies that I love to indulge in weekly!
Peter Thomas Roth Pumpkin Mask
This mask is my absolute favorite, because I can feel when it’s working and see results. It does what it says it does! Also, the pumpkin scent is heavenly. If you love pumpkin like I do, you’ll love this mask.
I have quite a few acne scars on my face, and the overall texture of my skin wasn’t the smoothest especially on my cheeks. This mask has lightened my acne scars with its alpha hydroxy acid, and dirt and deadskin are no longer clogging up my pores due to the exfoliating agents. The whiteheads that used to pop-up on my forehead aren’t anymore (YAY)! My skin has improved significantly since using it, and I’ll definitely keep it on rotation from here on out. The price is a bit steep at $58, but it was worth it! You can purchase it at Sephora or at the brand’s website.
The Body Shop Tea Tree 3 in 1 Wash Scrub Mask
I like that this product is a one stop shop. Need to wash your face? Use this as a cleanser. Need to smooth out your skin texture? Use this as an exfoliator. Need to shrink a pimple? Use this as a clay mask.
As a mask, it definitely helps reduce the appearance of pores and tames breakouts. Tea tree is a very powerful ingredient, and it’s great for acne-prone people such as myself. So, I use this when my skin is having a “moment.” It does have a drying effect, so I wouldn’t suggest using this too often. Nonetheless, it’s a staple skincare product! You can buy it at Ulta or The Body Shop for $22.
Until next time, je m’en vais!
